About
Artist, designer, and visual storyteller.
Kasey LeRay Leftwich is a multidisciplinary artist and designer from Grand Junction, Colorado. She joined the United States Army at age 17 and served five years as an Unmanned Aerial Systems Operator, gaining experience in leadership, mission coordination, and high pressure technical environments. After leaving the military, Kasey moved to Daytona Beach, Florida, where she earned an A.S. in Digital Interactive Media Production from Daytona State College. Although she has always been drawn to art and design, her time in the program expanded her creative practice into photography, videography, video editing, and digital media production. She also completed remote graphic design internships, building real world experience in branding, visual communication, and content creation.
Kasey later moved to Tucson, Arizona to pursue a B.A. in Design Arts and Practices with a minor in Studio Art at the University of Arizona. Her work now spans graphic design, print publication, photography, videography, UI/UX, and mixed media art. She has created logos, advertisements, social media graphics, merchandise designs, student publications, infographics, campus maps, and editorial layouts using tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, DaVinci Resolve, and Figma. Her recent experience includes designing print and digital materials for Arizona Student Media, including student welcome publications, housing guides, newspaper layouts, media packages, sponsored content materials, and web design support for The Daily Wildcat. Across her work, Kasey focuses on clear visual storytelling, strong layout, and creative problem solving while continuing to explore new forms of art, design, and media.
